iLight Terms of Use
iLight is a simple flashlight and screen light utility. By using the app, you agree to use it responsibly and understand the safety notes below.
Use of the App
iLight is provided for personal, everyday lighting use. Features may include flashlight brightness control, screen light, compass, SOS, strobe, slow flash, Live Activity, Dynamic Island, and Lock Screen status views.
Safety
Bright light and flashing light can be uncomfortable or unsafe for some people. Do not point the flashlight directly into eyes, especially around infants, children, pets, or anyone who may be sensitive to light.
Use SOS, strobe, and slow flash modes carefully. These modes may affect photosensitive users and should not be used to distract, harass, or endanger others.
No Emergency Guarantee
iLight is a general utility app. It should not be relied on as your only light source or emergency tool in medical, safety-critical, rescue, navigation, or hazardous situations.
Device and System Limits
Some features depend on device hardware, iOS permissions, battery level, system settings, and Apple platform behavior. The flashlight, compass, Live Activity, Dynamic Island, Lock Screen views, and background behavior may vary by device and iOS version.
Screen Light
Screen Light uses your device display as a light source and may temporarily adjust screen brightness while active. You are responsible for using it in a way that is comfortable and appropriate for your environment.
Optional Tips
iLight may offer optional tip jar purchases through Apple In-App Purchase. Tips are voluntary support for the app and do not unlock required features. Purchases are processed by Apple and may be subject to Apple's purchase, refund, and billing rules.
Privacy
Your use of iLight is also covered by the Privacy Policy.
Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are made.
